1. Chula Vista- is a great destination to have a conference. Where else can you have great meeting sessions and then relax at the spa or enjoy the world-class water parks?

2. Education- With a wide array of topics and experts from all over Wisconsin there is no better way to get knowledge pertaining to the building industry. WBA recruited some of the top talent in their respective fields from all across the building industry to teach these classes. Whether a builder or associate, there are multiple options you can choose from to benefit your business.

3. Networking-The Wisconsin Builders Conference provides a tremendous opportunity for suppliers, sub-contractors, and builders to mingle and network throughout the conference. From the vendor showcase to the hospitality suites there is great opportunity to meet people throughout the industry that can help you build and grow your business.

The 2011 Wisconsin Builders Conference on February 10-12 is a brand new event which has been combined with the Wisconsin Builders Association’s annual Convention.

The event is designed to accomplish many things and it is open to everyone who works in or around the construction industry. It will be held at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, the warmest place in Wisconsin during the winter and  home of the world’s largest indoor water park.There are classes on all three days, most of them offering you a chance to complete all of your credit requirements for your Wisconsin Department of Commerce Credential.

There will be many different social events where you can network with peers, introduce yourself to prospects, meet new friends from all over the state, and simply have a great time.

Bring the family. Chula Vista is offering special room rates so that you can pack up the gang and bring them along. Float down the lazy river with the kids, or take a wild ride down one of the largest indoor water slides in the world.

Friday night starts with the Traditional Ice Breaker celebration. Put on your cowboy hat and spurs, take a shot at being the fastest draw in the Wisconsin, and enjoy a good old fashion county hoedown. Saturdays Convention kickoff and awards presentation will lead off with Keynote speaker Joe Pusateri presenting “How to Thrive in Tough Times” sponsored by Menards. You may have had a chance to have seen Joe last week at the International Builders Show in Orlando. He is a great builder, and a great speaker. It is a chance to learn a way to get an edge over the others in your market.

Saturday comes to a close with Supreme Court Judge Annette Ziegler swearing in our new WBA President, Don Esposito. It is always an evening of fun and inspiration.
