Litjens to Serve as Vice Chair of Assembly Housing Committee

Madison – State Representative-Elect Michelle Litjens (R-Vinland) recently Michelle Litjensreceived her committee assignments for the upcoming legislative session.
Litjens will serve as Vice-Chair of the Assembly’s Housing Committee, as well as a member of the Health and Health Care Reform and Labor and Workforce Development Committees.

Litjens said, “Having worked in the housing industry for the past 15 years, I am familiar with the need to balance safety, regulations, industry innovations and our free market so we can once again grow the housing industry in Wisconsin.”

Litjens brings over 15 years of private-sector business experience to the Assembly and the committees she will serve on.
“The people of Wisconsin have the answers to all of our problems; we simply need to tap into our experience and ingenuity. I am excited to work with fellow small business owners and neighbors to better the health of all of our citizens and improve our workforce for the future.”

Michelle Litjens was elected in 2010 to represent the 56th Assembly District.
