Over the past four months, NAHB has been working to address the housing production credit crisis with a legislative fix aimed at restoring the flow of acquisition, development and construction (AD&C) credit to the housing sector to help spur job growth, support a recovery in the housing market and keep the economy moving forward.
NAHB is asking members to urge their representatives to co-sponsor the legislation—the the Home Construction Lending Regulatory Improvement Act of 2011 (HCLRIA)—or thank them for their support if they are already a co-sponsor.
You can find information and resources on HCLRIA on NAHB’s Congressional In-District Work Week web page, including the list of co-sponsors, a section-by-section analysis and talking points.
Read the NAHB BuilderLink Alert on HCLRIA that went out to all NAHB members today.
